Private Maine
Moose Tours

A quiet morning. A winding back road.

The possibility of an unforgettable encounter.

Where Quiet
Becomes Unforgettable
(Maine Moose Tours)

Some of the most unforgettable moments begin in complete silence. Then, almost without warning, the stillness is broken by the gentle slosh of water as a bull moose lifts its head from the marsh. You hear the soft slap of its lips as it feeds, the bubbles rising through the water, and the quiet sounds that remind you this isn't a show—it's real life unfolding in the Maine woods. Every tour is different, and that's exactly what makes each encounter so memorable.

Guided By Experience

Years spent exploring the Moosehead Lake region help us understand where wildlife naturally moves, allowing every tour to be shaped by experience rather than chance.

Moments From
the Maine Woods

Every photograph tells the story of a real encounter, a quiet moment, and a memory shared in the Moosehead Lake region.

Every Time of Day Tells
a Different Story

One of my favorite places along the tour reminds me why no two trips are ever the same. On the drive into the Maine woods, the morning light is soft and the landscape feels quiet and still. Hours later, on the way home, that very same view has transformed. The colors have changed. The reflections have shifted. Even the feeling of the place is different. I never get tired of watching guests see that change for themselves. It's a quiet reminder that nature is always moving, always changing, and no two experiences are ever alike. That's the beauty of the Maine woods—they never stand still.

One favorite stop. Endless different mornings.
